Robert Ackley

A friend of Holden who despises Stradlater, along with most of the kids at Pencey Prep, and whom Holden frowns upon because Ackley has a lot of annoying bad habits such as cutting his fingernails over the floor, popping his pimples in public, and laughing at things that aren't funny. Holden calls him Ackley kid, which annoys Ackley.
